• 1.1 Prophet
  • Definition: Christ reveals God’s will and truth to humanity.

• 1.2 Priest
  • Definition: Christ mediates between God and humanity, offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin.
  • Scriptural Basis: “We have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God” (Hebrews 4:14); “He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption” (Hebrews 9:12).
  • Key Points:
    • Jesus’ sacrifice replaces the Old Testament sacrificial system (Hebrews 10:10-14).
    • Continual intercession for believers (Romans 8:34).
• 1.3 King
  • Definition: Christ rules over His kingdom, both in the present spiritual sense and in the future physical sense.
  • Scriptural Basis: “He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end” (Luke 1:33); “King of kings and Lord of lords” (Revelation 19:16).
